Ubayed Muhith graduated in 2018 with a BA in Biochemistry with a Math minor. He was accepted to both MD and DO schools, but chose to attend osteopathic medical school.
He has held leadership roles in the Hunter College MSA (Muslim Students Association) and USG and was also part of the Thomas Hunter honors program.
While at Hunter, Ubayed conducted research in the biology department with Dr. Ogunwobi. His notable achievements include the Undergraduate Research Fellowship and the Benjamin Gilman Scholarship for studying Arabic in Jordan.
