Join our student-member led discussions to learn out more about: • Cell aging and pharmacological treatments that have shown to extend animal lifespan and healthspan through the activation of autophagy • Microbiota dysregulation effect on depression, autism, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease Also, updates on how the club will resume in the Fall semester will be announced!

- Zara Nadeem, Emily Movsumova, Zahin Quayyum, Afsana Rahman, and Iana (Yana) Leshchynska are all rising sophomores from the Yalow Honors Program, and are all on the MD/Ph.D. tracks. They will present on: “Autophagy and Longevity”
- David Arce is a rising sophomore majoring in psychology with a behavioral neuroscience concentration and hopes to pursue a career in neurology. He will present on: “Recent developments in understanding the role of gut microbiota in brain health and disease”.
