The University Blood Initiative (UBI) is a grassroots movement created to empower local blood centers and ensure the next generation of blood donors by mobilizing an organized network of dedicated young leaders. Our goal is to educate people about the importance of blood donations both during and after the pandemic. We do this through active social media campaigns, contact with local blood centers, and general mobilization.
Especially as future physicians, it's so important to be conscious of this deficit in our healthcare system. Learn how you can help major blood centers with this detrimental dry spell during the pandemic through our webinar!
