We will cover everything you need to know in order to be a strong applicant to Doctor of Optometry programs.
The workshop will discuss all aspects of preparing for and applying to Optometry Schools—there are 20 programs in total—including pre-requisite coursework in science and math, and the necessary types of clinical, volunteer service, and extracurricular experiences.
We will also discuss the importance of your GPA and OAT score as well as getting strong course evaluations and letters of recommendations.
The workshop will also provide an Application Timeline and review how to navigate the OptomCAS application site.
It is highly recommended that a Committee Letter accompany your application to Optometry School.
This workshop is required for all Pre-Health students who are considering a professional career in optometry.
