The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat is a collection of tales written by the renowned neurologist, Oliver Sacks. The stories are actual clinical interactions that Sacks had with his patients and they explore various psychological and neurological disorders along with the inner workings of the brain: how the different parts of our brains work together, and what happens when they stop cooperating.
The stories tackle a wide variety of social, philosophical, and ethical issues that arise in medicine while preserving what it means to be human.
