Join the Heart Health Awareness (HHA) club and the Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) for our first club collaborative educational seminar!
We will be hosting a discussion on cardiovascular health in underserved communities for you to learn more about the caveats in the healthcare field. Over eighty million adults in the United States live with cardiovascular health issues; many of whom belong to an underserved community. This includes low-income households, resource-deprived communities, rural areas, ethnic minorities, limited English proficiency, and recent migration to the United States.
Join us this week to discuss how these qualities create limitations on accessing medical specialists and therefore disparities in cardiovascular health.
