Project HOPE is a charitable organization that partners with communities, healthcare systems, and physicians to heal people and save lives, while empowering healthcare workers to create a healthier, more equitable world.
Mental illnesses have increased drastically over the past years, with the COVID -19 pandemic and the rise in international crises. Statistics show that a whopping 25% of the world population suffers from some form of mental illness, and 2/3 of these people do not receive the care that they need.
The Project HOPE Club at Hunter is collaborating with Friends of MSF and Heart at Hunter for a fun and educational mental health game night!
Join us as we go over the impacts of health crises on mental health and the prevalence of mental illnesses worldwide, followed by a game of Jeopardy!
Bring your friends! Winners will be awarded prizes!
