As future health professionals, you will need to be broadly-educated, mature, adaptable citizens who have had significant experience in the world beyond the classroom. Study abroad is an ideal opportunity for Pre-Health students to develop some of the skills and attitudes that are necessary for the practice of medicine—adaptability, self-reliance, and sensitivity to other cultures. Study abroad offers Pre-Health students a unique chance to observe diverse health care systems,
explore different cultural attitudes towards health and healing, and often, to gain volunteer experience in a unique healthcare setting while earning college credits. Join us for this information session to explore study abroad opportunities available to Hunter College Pre-Health students.
This is a required PPAP 1000 seminar.
