Dr. Robinson earned her PhD in Social Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology from Rutgers University in 2010. She has taught courses in Social, Developmental, and Health Psychology at Rutgers University and Bowdoin College. Dr. Robinson's research examines the effects of minority stress, such as discrimination, on psychological well-being and health behaviors. She is also interested in college students' transition to adulthood. Her research in this area explores the effects of various psychosocial factors, such as peer and parental relationships, personality, and alcohol-related cognitions, that contribute to substance use and abuse in college students.
