Fight / Physical Confrontation
- Provide your name, location, telephone number.
- Explain the situation to the public safety officer in detail.
- Provide information on any injuries if known.
Do NOT interfere with combatants.
- If possible, issue verbal commands to STOP or cease activity.
- Make note of how many people are involved or witnesses to the event.
- Make note if any weapons are involved.
- Do you know any of the participants?
- Attend to victims, if possible.
- Help clear bystanders from danger.
- If someone is running away from the scene, take note of:
- The direction they are running,
- If a vehicle is entered: (the color, make and model, license plate number, number of passengers, direction vehicle was heading).
- REMEMBER that weapons may be involved.
