Partnership History
The TUFCCC/HC Cancer Health Disparity Partnership has demonstrated successful collaborations between Temple University Fox Chase Cancer Center and Hunter College over the past six years in the PA, NJ and NYC - PNN region. Researchers engaged in this Partnership have achieved significant accomplishments in cancer research, training and community cancer outreach during this period.

- 43 URM mentees/trainees (including 18 ESIs)
- 53 TUFCCC/HC Partnership faculty mentors
- 5 joint cancer research grant applications (2 funded)
- 25 joint publications; 24 joint presentations
- 22 co-mentored pilot research projects for ESIs (7 completed)
- Two year's summer research projects (2016 and 2017)
- Two joint cancer health disparity curricula developed
- 79 cancer seminars/webinars for URM students/ESIs
- Two community needs assessment studies conducted
