Requirements
You may apply for non-degree admission if you satisfy the following conditions:
- You wish to complete graduate-level coursework as a non-degree seeking student.
- You have already earned a bachelor’s degree from a US regionally accredited institution or the equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree from a non-US institution.
Restrictions
- The School of Education offers non-degree courses on a limited basis, pending departmental permission and availability of space.
- The Silberman School of Social Work does not offer courses to new non-degree graduate students for the Summer or Winter Session.

Admission as a non-degree graduate student does not guarantee approval to take a specific course. You may be required to present additional copy of your academic transcript to the program advisor to obtain course approval prior to registration.
- Acceptance as a non-degree graduate student does not imply admission as a degree-seeking graduate student in a future semester.
- Non-degree graduate students are ineligible for financial aid
- Non-degree graduate students are ineligible for student visas or exchange visas, unless they are part of a college-approved exchange program.
