Publications and Media

About

A key part of the educational experience is the opportunity to learn about and discuss current issues affecting Hunter and the community at large. Fellow students who share and understand the experiences of Hunter students run most of our publications and broadcast media.

Hunter Publications

The Hunter Envoy

Our student newspaper, The Hunter Envoy, has been “the voice” of Hunter College since 1944. Students can submit articles, story ideas, illustrations or photographs, as well as work on the paper as editors, reporters, photographers, or illustrators.

The Olivetree Review

Established in 1983, The Olivetree Review, is Hunter College’s student-run undergraduate art and literary journal. It is published every semester and distributed free of charge among the Hunter community. The journal primarily features art and writing created by Hunter undergraduate students.

Psych News

Psych News is the official publication of The Psychology Collective. Published each semester, the newsletter not only informs Hunter students, but provides a forum where they can share and discuss their interests in psychology.

The Issue

The Issue is a bi-annual publication that showcases the work of student photographers on campus who are members of The Photographers Collective of Hunter College and highlights events hosted by the club.

The Status Post

The Status Post is a student-run newsletter published by the Nursing Students’ Press of the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing.

For Your Consideration

For Your Consideration is a film club and publication that aims to foster and grow the creative community passionate about film and television at Hunter. Through our workshops and events, we’ll explore all aspects of film making and celebrate film as a tangible art form through our publication. Contact: 4ycmag@gmail.com

Hunter Radio

WCHS Radio Station

WCHS is “where Hunter College speaks,” an independent, non-commercial, student-run radio at Hunter College.
