Manhattan II

Training Institute

Suite #1400

Telephone: 212-582-1566

DETAILS: The Treatment Center at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies Training Institute (NIPTI) offers both in-person and telehealth individual psychotherapy and EMDR trauma treatment at a reduced fee based on a consideration of your income, expenses, and insurance coverage. Unfortunately, our Treatment Center cannot accept coverage from Medicare or Medicaid, and we cannot accept those with Medicare or Medicaid who prefer to self-pay.

Doctoral level students and experienced examiners from NIP will provide intake, testing and report writing services to answer various referral questions that will typically include specific learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, adaptive and socio-emotional deficits.

These assessments will help establish accurate diagnoses, design intervention steps and treatment options, educate the involved parties on the nature of the presenting problems and advocate for special accommodations if qualified.

For families with limited budgets, NIP will offer sliding scale payments that can help make the evaluation more affordable.

Our regular sliding scale is from $900.00 to $2500.00, based on income and expenses.

The Queens College Psychological Center (QCPC) is offering psychoeducational evaluations for students.  (QCPC) is a community mental health service, as well as a training and research center operated by the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology at Queens College and the Department of Psychology, Queens College City University of New York.

Students needing assessment to determine eligibility for special services will receive standardized tests of intellectual function, academic achievement, and select cognitive areas via tele-assessment using HIPAA-compliant zoom platforms.

Individual psychoeducational assessments are $350 or $300 for students on financial aid.  For students with demonstrated financial need, fees will be set on a sliding scale.

If interested, please contact QCPC. Interested individual's names will go on a wait list and will be contacted when an opening becomes available.
