Health Promotion and Education

mindfulness

Health Promotion and Education is dedicated to educating students about mental health-related topics and equipping them with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. By helping students develop practical strategies for fostering their mental health, we support their overall well-being and academic success.

Our programs focus on mental health promotion and fostering the development of supportive connections throughout the Hunter community. We aim to increase awareness of mental health issues and reduce related stigma, as well as increase students' awareness of when and how to seek help or refer others for help.

Our Programs

We offer programs on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to:

  • Stress Management
  • Time Management
  • Mindfulness
  • Effective Communication
  • Sleep
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Gatekeeper Training: Identifying & Supporting Students

Request a Workshop

Students, faculty, and staff can request specific programs from Health Promotion & Education, including workshops on any of the topics above, or other wellness topics.
