About Us
The Cooperman Business Center was established in 2010 through a generous gift from Leon Cooperman, a Hunter alumnus, former Goldman Sachs Managing Partner, and Omega Advisors founder. Our mission is to ensure that Hunter students of all majors have access to advising and resources that will enable them to pursue a wide range of business careers. We offer:
- Advising on choosing and pursuing a business career path
- Hands-on career skills workshops (résumés, interviewing, networking, etc.)
- Resources for finding and applying to internships and full-time jobs
- Valuable programming, including speakers, panels, workshops, and company visits
