Introduction
Policies that govern student safety, student conduct, and academic integrity are implemented CUNY-wide. Some policies are concerned with maintaining public order, while others cover the use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or weapons on College property. Hunter takes policy violations by our students very seriously, including allegations of discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct. If you have a situation that requires assistance or intervention, please contact the Behavioral Response Team. If you have a situation that requires a decision or an appeal, please contact the Office of Student Conduct.
Federal law—FERPA—protects the privacy of students’ education records. This law applies to every school that receives funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. You can choose to have your records kept confidential or released to a third party by using the forms below.
