COMMON STUDY PROBLEMS
I spend days studying but I still do poorly, can I get help?
Yes, check out the Test Taking and Thinking/Learning Styles Handouts from the The Center for Student Achievement.
I go blank on tests – HELP!
Don't worry, you can email the The Center for Student Achievement for Stress Reduction and Test-Taking Strategies Handouts.
I have a full time job and I'm taking only 12 credits–how come I can't catch up?
It's probably hard to catch up because 12 credits of classes requires at least 24 hours of preparation per week. Email us for the Time Management Handouts.
The professors talk so fast in class that I never get all the notes.
You are probably trying to take down all the notes in chronological order. There are better methods! Contact the Center for Student Achievement for Note-Taking Handouts.
The Center for Student Achievement is located in Room 1119 East.
PLEASE NOTE: Project Success groups will be held online via ZOOM and in person for the FALL 2024 semester.
