Program Learning Outcomes for the Physics BA program
- Proficiency in mathematics and ability to express and analyze physical concepts using mathematics.
- Knowledge in core areas of physics including classical mechanics quantum mechanics electromagnetism and thermal physics and be able to apply this knowledge to analyze a broad range of physical phenomena.
- Laboratory skills which enable them to take measurements in a physics laboratory and analyze the measurements to draw conclusions.
- Oral and written scientific communication and critical thinking.
