MATH 101, 101.EN, 124, 125.50, 150, 155, STAT 113 AND CHEM 102 STUDENTS:
PARTICIPATE IN A ONE-DAY STUDENT SUCCESS CONFERENCE FOR THE FALL ON AUGUST 14TH from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Topics include: Math & Science Necessary Study Skills, Time Management, Gearing Up for Higher Education, Writing in Science Courses, Math Test-Taking Tips, Benefits of Group Peer Learning.
Invited Speakers include Associate Provost Nicole Bennett, Faculty from Math, Statistics and Chemistry Departments, Hunter Learning Center Directors, and Successsful Center Students.
Lunch provided as well as chances to win prizes. Check your email and register through Navigate! Space is limited.

Math can be seen in so many things - from the geometry of street signs to the caloric values of the food that we eat, to the architecture of the buildings that we see every day. Click here to see some more examples of math in our everyday lives - you'll be surprised about some of them
Having trouble connecting math with other subjects?
Many of us know how to do routine exercises in mathematics, but when it comes to doing math in other subjects, sometimes we stumble.
