Urgent need: The number of students turning to the Purple Apron Food Pantry has doubled this semester—and demand is expected to double again. Help ensure no Hunter student goes hungry while pursuing their goals. Give to the Purple Apron Food Pantry.
Hunter's ICIT Departmental groups provide essential, campus-wide support services focusing on infrastructure, data systems, web development, online learning, media services and more.
Media Services supports technology-enhanced classrooms, meeting spaces, and other teaching and learning environments. Additionally, Media Services provides audio-visual services for special events, and other specialized instructional needs. A variety of instructional equipment is available for loan for faculty, such as mobile audio-visual carts, and other media players.
Management Information System (MIS) provides information that is needed to manage the college efficiently and effectively. This group evaluates, designs, develops, implements, manages and utilizes systems to generate information to analyze and facilitate strategic and operational activities in the organization.
Our Help Desk and Desktop support groups are part of User Services, our forward-facing division that responds to general IT inquiries about student, faculty, and staff ICIT services. This group also supports desktop computing environments, including PC and Mac desktop and laptops, and related peripherals.
