Scantrons are scannable answer sheets used for testing purposes. At Hunter College, instructors are in charge of grading Scantron exams. This technology is being phased out. Instructors are advised to transition to Remark Test Grading.

Scantron Options for Faculty
Run the scan yourself at the Faculty Resource Center located on the 5th floor of the Leon & Toby Cooperman Library.
- Instructor performs scanning of exams using instructions provided at the machine.
- After the scan, the data is given to you in a Microsoft Excel file.
- The scans normally take about 20-30 minutes, and can be done any time the machine is available.
