Updating a Module
Steps to update a module:
Step 1: Find Page
Use Search in the CMS:
- Inside WordPress CMS, add the page name to the search field at the top right.
- Click on the name or edit to view page in the WordPress CMS.
Step 2: Decide How to Update Page
- If you are making simple text changes, proceed to step 3.
- If you are making larger changes, use Revisionize which is designed to help make big changes without fear of disrupting the current page. See Update a Page with Revisionize for more information.
Step 3: Find Module
- Scroll down the page to find the module that needs updating.
- If the page contains many modules, it may be easier to close modules (clicking top of module bar) in order to see them all. See WordPress Framework for more information on templates and modules.
Step 4: Make Updates
Common changes include:
- Edit copy - Make edits inside the module.
- Update photo - Hover over current photo, click X, then the Add Image button. Once the media gallery pops up, find or upload a new image into it. Click Select to add to the page.
- Reorder modules - Modules may be dragged and dropped to a new order by selecting the header of each and dragging it to the desired position.

Step 5: Preview
- To see changes before publishing, click on Preview Changes on the top right.
- To make adjustments, go back to the CMS, make changes and click Preview Changes again.
- Repeat until content is correct.
Step 6: Get Approval
- See Get Approval for more information.
Step 7: Publish
- To publish to the live site, click the Update button.
- Once it has updated, click on the Permalink link (right below the title of the page) to view changes on the live site.
Adding a Module
Steps to add a new module to a page:
Step 1: Find Page
Use Search in the CMS:
- Inside WordPress CMS, add the page name to the search field at the top right.
- Click on the name or edit to view page in the WordPress CMS.
Step 2: Use Revisionize
- Use Revisionize which is designed to help make big changes without fear of disrupting the current page. See Update a Page with Revisionize for more information.
Step 3: Add Module
- Close all the modules and/or scroll to the bottom of the list and click Add Module.
- Find desired module and select to add it.
Available Modules:
Step 4: Add Content to Module
Add desired content to module.

Step 5: Preview
- To see changes before publishing, click on Preview Changes on the top right.
- To make adjustments, go back to the CMS, make your changes and click Preview Changes again.

Removing a Module
Steps to remove a module from a page:

Step 2: Find Page

- Click on the name or edit to view page in the WordPress CMS.
Step 3: Find Desired Module
- Find desired module.
- Hover over the title bar of the module, select the - (minus) icon Remove Layout. Confirm by clicking 'Remove'.
Step 4: Preview
- To see changes before publishing, click on Preview Changes on the top right.
- To revert back, click Pages in WordPress menu to go back to list and don't save changes.
Step 5: Publish
- To publish to the live site, click the Update button.
- Once it has updated, click on the Permalink link (right below the title of the page) to view changes on the live site.
Reordering Modules
Modules may be dragged to any order. Closing the modules, by clicking on the top bar of the module, may make it easier to see what order they are in.
Make sure to Save Draft or Publish to see changes.
