MARC is a National Institutes of Health-funded honors scholarship program that offers mentoring, research experience, and financial support for research-oriented and underrepresented undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing careers as biomedical scientists.

The goal of MARC is to increase the number of biomedical scientists from underrepresented backgrounds, supporting trainees with research training and preparations for the pursuit of a PhD or a combined MD/PhD program in the biomedical sciences after graduation.
