In Person Proctoring Services
The Hunter College Testing Center provides proctoring services to Hunter College faculty, who are teaching Hunter courses and would like to have an exam proctored in person. We offer the convenience of an experienced staff of proctors. Hunter faculty may seek to have their Hunter examinations officially invigilated in the Hunter College Testing Center.

To Schedule An Exam
Hunter College course professors must contact the Hunter College Testing Center at least two weeks in advance of the exam window to request the possibility of having an exam proctored. Exams are scheduled by the Testing Center based on the availability of proctors, testing stations and the length of the exam. Exams are proctored in the Testing Center, Room 150 Hunter North Building. Exams can be scheduled to begin during the following days and times depending on the length of the exam: Tuesday to Thursday 11:00am - 4:00pm. We do not offer walk-in proctoring services. Due to the anticipated high volume of students, who need to test, we may not be able to honor your request to test students during the months of May, June, July and August.
The In Person Exam Request Form should be completed and submitted by the Hunter College course professor at least two weeks prior to the exam start date.
We will confirm receipt of all exam materials with the course professor. Course professors will then inform the student to contact the Testing Center at testing@hunter.cuny.edu to schedule a test date and time. Reminder: Exams are scheduled by the Testing Center based on the availability of proctors, testing stations and the length of the exam. Based on the total number of students scheduled to test, students are asked to report to the Testing Center well in advance of the exam start time with valid photo identification to conduct the sign-in process. Students who are late will only be granted a 5 minute grace period. Students, who are more than 5 minutes late, will be asked to reschedule the exam with their course professor.
Please be advised, the Hunter College Testing Center will be enforcing it policy on punctuality and photo identification. Any student who is unable to attend their exam date and/or time should contact the Testing Center at testing@hunter.cuny.edu as soon as possible to reschedule. Students will be allowed to reschedule their exam date twice.
