College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Be sure to review our General Testing Rules page.
The College Board's College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is the most widely trusted credit-by-examination program. CLEP exams allow students to test their mastery of college-level material in introductory subjects and earn college credit. The College Board's website provides additional information about CLEP, including exam descriptions and test preparation at https://clep.collegeboard.org. Hunter College participates in CLEP, under which registered Hunter College matriculated students can receive up to 30 college credits by taking CLEP subject examinations. The Hunter College Testing Center offers CLEP exams to all individuals seeking to earn credit.
