On every CUNY Campus there is a designated Title IX Coordinator who is trained in investigating any complaints involving sexual misconduct. At Hunter College the Title IX Coordinator is John Rose (john.rose@hunter.cuny.edu) and he has designated other staff to make up the Title IX Team. The Title IX Team are the individuals on campus that investigate any reports of sexual misconduct including sexual harassment, gender-based harassment, sexual assault, stalking, voyeurism, domestic violence and intimate partner violence. Any individual who engages in retaliatory behavior against another individual who has reported a suspected violation or cooperated in the investigation of a violation will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination of employment, following applicable procedures under University Bylaws, policies or collective bargaining agreements, or severance of the relationship with CUNY. Any employee who believes that s/he or another individual who reported a suspected violation is being retaliated against should report such offense to the Interim Assistant Vice President for Human Resources (Michelle Blackman) and the Title IX Coordinator (John Rose).
