General Building Notices

Due to ongoing renovations, there will be a shutdown of electrical service in the West Building during Spring Recess on Tuesday, April 19, 7am - 12pm.

The West Lobby Entrance will be closed during this time. Visitors should enter Hunter at the 68th Street entrance to North Building directly across the street.

For anyone with technology equipment in the West Building: to protect your electronic work/documents and devices due to the scheduled power outage on 4/19, ICIT recommends the following steps be taken prior to power shut down in the building:

  • Save any open work or documents on your computer.
  • Power off your desktop/laptop computer, your local printer, and your general office printer/copier/scanner. If you can, after powering off your devices, unplug them from the wall or outlet.

For those who access office computers remotely, when you shut it down, remote access will not be available. After power is restored, you will need to restart your office computer before you can access it remotely.

Questions or concerns? Visit the ICIT website or contact 212-772-4422 for the Facilities Helpdesk.

We are working on an upgrade of the elevators in the North Building.

Work will continue through the end of the Spring 2022 Semester.

Questions or concerns? Please contact the Facilities Helpdesk at 212-722-4422.
