Math is Everywhere

Presentations

This series of workshops will focus on the role of math in the world around us in the “not so obvious ways”.

When some people hear "math," they cringe, and some say they don't see any connection between math and their lives. But when we stop and think, math can be seen in so many things - from the geometry of street signs to the caloric values of the food that we eat, to the architecture of the buildings that we see every day.

These presentations will give you some additional examples of the appearance of math in our everyday lives.
