Her nonfiction book, The Rescuer, was a best seller, and her beautifully-written novels weave sweeping family dramas mixed with magical fables, multi-generational tales and sagas of family history. In the Image received the 2003 National Jewish Book Award. This and other novels have been similarly lauded in The New York Times Book Review, San Francisco Chronicle, Booklist, and other notable publications.
Best-Selling Authors’ and Great Thinkers’ lectures are followed by a reception and book-signing. The public is invited. There is no charge. RSVP are required: call 212-772-4295 or email twcce@hunter.cuny.edu and include your phone number and email address.
A few days before each talk, guests will receive a confirmation email with directions to Hunter College and the room in which the lecture will be held.
