Best-Selling Author Series: Paul Auster

This Renaissance man is a successful novelist, essayist, poet, film-writer and director. His complex best-selling mysteries often explore the search for identity and personal meaning. Notable books include New York Trilogy, Moon Palace, The Book of Illusions, The Brooklyn Follies, Invisible, and Winter Journal. His books have been translated into more than 40 languages and have received over 20 awards.  Mr. Auster has also written and directed screenplays, and acted in or narrated over 10 films, several of which received or were nominated for distinguished awards. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.


Best-Selling Author and Great Thinker lectures are followed by a reception and book-signing. The public is invited. There is no charge. RSVP are required: call 212-772-4295 or email twcce@hunter.cuny.edu and include your phone number and email address.

A few days before each talk, guests will receive a confirmation email with directions to Hunter College and the room in which the lecture will be held.
