Learn about CUNY Spring Forward Paid Internship Program and the Community and Social Impact Hub!

CUNY Spring Forward is a nine-week paid internship in the Spring 2026 semester (March-May). CUNY students are matched with organizations across New York City where they intern for 15 hours per week and are paid $20 an hour. The program includes professional development and support as students build new skills in their first paid internship. The application is open from 9/9/25 to 10/7/25.

The Community and Social Impact (CSI) Hub is one of four industry hubs students can apply to. CSI is for students interested in interning in mission-driven organizations that serve New York City residents and improve the lives of individuals, families, and local communities. Students participate in hands-on projects in nonprofit organizations or government offices that impact social change. Interns will gain skills in advocacy, coordinating, event planning, project management, research, social media, writing, and more. Many CSI students are majoring in Criminal Justice, English, Human Services, Liberal Arts, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Urban Studies. ALL majors are welcome!
