Equity and Advocacy: Community Connections and Equity Eats
Community Connections, sponsored by the Equity and Advocacy Committee, are gatherings open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Share in our collective efforts to build equity through events, recruitment and retention, and research.
The first hour will be devoted to building community and getting to know each other through potlucks, informal conversation and art therapy. In the second hour, we will be holding our Equity Eats where we will discuss the first two sections (from lens to mirror and from transactional to transformative) of The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves by Dr. Shawn Ginwright.
These gatherings are offered as hyflex with participants encouraged to join online or in-person in the Community Room, W1007.
