FDA Plenary Meeting
Reading and discussion of a new plan for faculty governance at Hunter College. A draft of a proposal for changing faculty governance, including the relation between the General Faculty, the FDA, and the Hunter College Senate, will be presented and discussed. This is potentially the greatest change in faculty governance since the 1970s; come to hear about it and voice your opinions.
A discussion led by professors Laura Keating (Philosophy), Jason Young (Psychology), and members of the FDA Executive Committee, among others. All delegates to the FDA are especially urged to attend.
Also: updates on Brookdale/SPARC renovations, Academic Freedom initiatives of the University Faculty Senate and other bodies, and more!
