Group Service Activity: Books Beyond Bars

Founded in 2016, Books Beyond Bars is the newest component of the Center for Appellate Litigation’s holistic approach to client advocacy. Our mission is to provide reading materials to indigent incarcerated individuals and to advocate for policies that support prisoners’ access to information. This volunteer service will be on location in the Financial District (address to be provided).

There will be a preliminary training call on Zoom the day before, October 2, Wednesday at 4 p.m. Students must come to training so that they are prepared to pitch in on Thursday morning on site. Please register at this link for Zoom training.
