Andrea Maria Schenkel, author of the best-selling The Murder Farm and Ice Cold, has penned six novels, edited a collection of Christmas stories, and written numerous essays and short stories. Born and raised in Regensburg, Germany, Schenkel has received several awards, including the German Crime Fiction Prize for both The Murder Farm and Ice Cold, making her the first author to win the top award in consecutive years, as well as the Friedrich Glauser Prize and Sweden's coveted Martin Beck Award.
