Research Skills 101 (Information Research) will help you in improving your research skills. Researchers have vastly more information at their disposal than they can use.

In today’s information-rich world, knowing how to find, evaluate, and use credible sources is essential—especially for academic success. Research Skills 101 is designed to equip you with the tools and strategies needed to navigate the vast landscape of information effectively.

This seminar will help you:

  • Identify credible and relevant sources for your assignments and research projects
  • Develop efficient search strategies using academic databases and library tools
  • Manage and organize information for both undergraduate and graduate-level research

Whether you're writing a paper, preparing for a presentation, or planning a long-term research project, this session will give you the confidence and skills to approach any research task with clarity and purpose. The challenge is to identify information that is both credible and relevant to your assignment, topic, or question. Information Research will give you the tools to manage any level of research, graduate or undergraduate.
