Hunter Helpers For Students

Looking for a local part-time job?

Through Hunter Helpers students can find jobs such as Babysitting, Tutors, Dog Walking, Party Assistance, Errands, etc.

Step 1: Login

To get started you need to log in to the portal below using your NetID and password and create a profile: url.hunter.cuny.edu/hunterhelpers.

Step 2: Create Your Profile

Upon logging in, you will see a set of tabs and subheadings on your home page:

  1. Use the ‘Sign Up’ tab to create a profile and manage your contact information.
  2. Write a bio about yourself, specify the types of jobs you're interested in, share information about your major and interests, and indicate the services you're interested in providing. You can also list your relevant experience and additional information here. This bio will be later viewed by clients when you apply for a job.

Step 3: Apply for Jobs

  1. The ‘More Jobs for You’ tab features a list of available jobs.
  2. Select a job to access its description, requirements, compensation details. Click “apply” to submit your profile to the client (employer).
  3. After applying, your application will be visible on the client's account.
  4. The client can then reach out to you using the provided contact information. Keep an eye on your emails or phone calls, as clients might contact you for additional information or to arrange an interview.
  5. To view the jobs you applied to, access your profile, and find them under the "My Jobs" tab.
