CHANGES IN GRANT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH
CUNY has issued a mandate that all faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students involved in research-related activities complete the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative’s (CITI) Responsible Conduct of Research Training. This requirement is effective August 1, 2012. A copy of this certification is required with all grant proposal submissions, whether it is an internal or external grant application. Your proposal is incomplete without a copy of this certificate.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is valid for five years. You must take the CITI refresher course prior to the expiration in order to maintain your RCR training certification.
For more information how to complete the CITI RCR training, please refer to http://research.hunter.cuny.edu/citi%20responsible%20conduct%20of%20research.pdf.
