Congratulations to Assistant Professor Sarah Ita Levitan, also a member of the doctoral faculty at the CUNY Graduate Center for both Computer Science and Linguistics PhD programs, who has been awarded another year of funding from the Google's CyberNYC Initiative! She is one of seven CUNY faculty members to receive this funding from Google.

This award of $100,000 is to continue working on the project "News or Opinion: Fine grained analysis of text data to inform online readers."

She is the lead PI and the project is in collaboration with Prof. Shweta from John Jay College.
