Distinguished Professor Emily Braun has been appointed as a 2019-2020 Safra Visiting Professor at National Gallery of Art’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (CASVA). She was named alongside professors from such institutions as Harvard, Princeton and UCLA, and she joins a cohort of distinguished appointees with expertise in a range of cultural and artistic topics. The CASVA residencies provide a forum for historical and artistic research, and help build a community of national scholarship around history, theory, and criticism of art, architecture and urbanism.
Hunter College’s Baker Building, located at 151 East 67th Street, between Lexington and Third avenues, is open to students, faculty, and staff daily from 9:45 am until 6 pm. All evening classes have been relocated until further notice. Read more.
