Designed for ambitious artists and educators looking to study dance education in the heart of New York City, the Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program combines courses in the School of Education and the School of Arts and Sciences Dance Program.
Courses focus on applying teaching methods to dance classroom environments, while engaging in a community where academic work is enhanced through workshops.
To accommodate the ever-growing dance department — the first of its kind at CUNY — Hunter has added two new dance studios, appropriately named after their generous donors: Jody Arnhold and Peggy Tirschwell.
