Ruth Finkelstein, Executive Director of the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging at Hunter College is advocating for a socially responsible kind of social distancing while New Yorkers deal with the coronavirus crisis. Finkelstein reminds us that now, more than ever, looking out for older adults is especially important, as New York has shut down its vast network of 287 senior centers.
Out of an abundance of caution, Hunter College’s Baker Building, located at 151 East 67th Street, between Lexington and Third avenues, will remain closed on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and until further notice. Read more.
