In 4:30 Movie, a poetry collection now available in paperback, Donna Masini ’84 contemplates life in the face of great loss. Masini is an award-winning poet on the faculty of Hunter’s MFA Program in Creative Writing. Since returning to her alma mater, she has also taught undergraduate workshops in poetry and fiction and graduate classes In American literature.
The poems in 4:30 Movie move back and forth in time as Masini copes with her younger sister’s illness and death, and finds solace in the communal act of movie-watching. In the new podcast, she discusses her book with host Joe Tirella of CUNY.
