Lindsey Boylan is running for Congress in New York’s 10th congressional district, which is in close proximity to Hunter College, and her campaign has remote interships available for students that are passionate about the campaigning process

About Lindsey:

Lindsey is the first woman to run for New York's 10th congressional district in 50 years. Her opponent has spent 26 years in office and in that time has only sponsored one piece of legislation, that was non-ceremonial. We need someone who is present and active in the district so that we can tackle the issues important to us. Lindsey is pushing to pass a Green New Deal that can help stabilize the economy and stem climate change simultaneously, while her opponent falls in-line with the status quo. As Deputy Advisor for Economic Development in NY State, Lindsey worked on green solutions throughout the state, helped pass a $15 minimum wage and paid family leave, and managed green spaces throughout NYC.

About the Campaign Internship:

The campaign is looking for passionate and detail-oriented interns to work remotely in support of digital field organizing and social media efforts. If you are interested please send a resume to James Chapman, Ms. Boylan’s Field Director, at james@lindseyboylan.com. If you would like to stay up to date with the campaign, please follow the campaign on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to make sure Lindsey's platform continues to make an impact.

Please note, anyone who is registered on campus will be automatically mailed a ballot to the address at which they are registered. The process for receiving your ballot at an address other than the one at which you are registered is currently unclear, so the best course of action would be to apply for an absentee ballot by using the form (here) and mailing it in to the county BOE for the June 23rd election.

If you are interested, or have any other inquiries,  you can reach out to James Chapman, Ms. Boylan’s Field Director, at james@lindseyboylan.com.

If you would like to stay up to date with campaign, you can follow the campaign on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to make sure Lindsey's platform continues to make an impact
