A small city, 200 miles northwest of Buenos Aires, bears the name of the United States’ 16th president—Lincoln. To commemorate the namesake of their town, Harold Holzer, a Lincoln scholar and director of Roosevelt House, helped the town source a sculpture to display outside their city hall. The three-and-a-half-foot bust was made in New York, and unveiled in Lincoln, Argentina on April 15, 2019, the 154th anniversary of Lincoln’s death.
