How does power inscribe itself on lives and landscapes? Can writing be an act of defiance?
Join us on Friday, May 16th for an interdisciplinary end-of-year conference that brings together critical discussions from two Thomas Hunter Honors Colloquia: “Life, Death, & Power: Exploring Biopolitics and Necropolitics” and “Commitments & Convictions: Writing from Institutions.”
This conference will showcase student research and creative projects that examine the intersections of writing, narrative, power, control, and institutional structures. Students will present their research and projects from the Spring 2025 semester.
The conference will culminate in the Spring 2025 Thomas Hunter Honors Program Reception.
Friday, May 16th:
