Vineyard Theatre

Founded in 1982, Vineyard Theatre is a nonprofit Off Broadway venue dedicated to developing and producing new plays and musicals that push the boundaries of what theatre can be and do. Vineyard Theatre has transferred 11 shows to Broadway, including Tony award winning musical Avenue Q. Each season, Vineyard premieres three new works and develops many more.

John J. Caswell Jr., who earned his MFA in Playwriting at Hunter College in 2020, premiered his play Scene Partners at the Vineyard in 2023.
