Wooster Group

The Wooster Group is a company of artists based in New York City that makes work for theater, dance, and media. The company has sustained a full-time, ongoing ensemble since the mid-1970’s, and they develop and perform work at the Performing Garage in Manhattan. The company was formally founded by a group of artists in the 1980s which included renowned actor Willem Dafoe. The Wooster Group also brings their work to other venues in New York as well as theaters around the world.
