My name is Arielle Jurado and since February 2022, I have been the Assistant Director/Early College Liaison of the Manhattan Hunter Science High School program. My past higher education experience includes having been an academic advisor, First- Year Seminar Instructor and Psychology adjunct lecturer for almost two years at my alma mater, St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. There I earned my combined BA/MA in Applied Behavior Psychology in 2020. After experiencing a colorful career exploration journey, which first led me to wildlife conservation, I fell in love with higher education and the opportunity it gives me to aid students as they pursue their own dreams. Aside from higher education, my passion projects still include wildlife conservation and education as well as supporting animal rescue initiatives. When I am not in my office, you can find me with my “fur child” Roxie!
